Supracon is a high-technology company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of highly sensitive superconducting detectors, customized readout and evaluation electronics, and the resulting measurement systems. The foundation of our products lies in a specialized microfabrication technology.

The company Supracon was founded in 2001 as a spin-off from the Institute for Physical High Technology e.V. (today the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology) and operates as a small joint-stock company based in Jena.

Supracon AG continues the more than 30-year tradition of superconducting electronics in Jena.

Our vision is to transform the achievements of superconductivity research into industrial products and to realize complex systems based on these products in suitable fields of application.
